I make studded belts and guitar straps.
When I see a cool looking tractor trailer truck I always think,
"That truck would look great with studded mud flaps." So here they are.

Mud flap accessories such as lightning bolts, etc. can be ordered from suppliers
such as Road Works and Empire Chrome and America's Truck Wash & Chrome Shop.

A mudflap or mud flap is used in combination with the vehicle fender to protect vehicle passengers, other vehicles, and pedestrians from mud and other flying debris thrown into the air by the rotating tire. A mudflap is typically made from a soft flexible material such as rubber that is not easily damaged by contact with flying debris, the tire, or the road surface. Mudflaps can be large rectangular sheets suspended behind the tires, or may be small molded lips around the bottom of a vehicle wheel well. While some flaps are the plain colour of rubber, many contain company logos or other art, or sometimes advertisements. One popular image is cartoon character Yosemite Sam with the words "Back Off!". Another is the mudflap girl, a silhouette of an appealing woman's shadow, nude or wearing very tight-fitting clothes or lingerie, sitting with her hair being blown back in the wind, as the air turbulence causes the mudflap to wave, similar to a flag that waves when in the presence of a resistive force.
